His mission to redeem ✝️ us from sin was complete. The perfect lamb sacrificed in our place on that cross just so that you and I can have a direct relationship with God. 🙏

When I was little, Easter was sad for me. I couldn’t fathom a stranger going through such brutal treatment out of love for me. I remember the sorrow I felt while my family celebrated at the beach in Santa Barbara with an Easter egg hunt.

What I didnt understand was that had He not gone through this - I would have had to pay for my sins over and over and over again and still not have relationship with my creator.

The story of resurrection fills my heart with Joy and celebration now. Because for Jesus this was not the ending. It was only the beginning. The fact He came in human form to connect with us is inspiring in itself. He didn’t have to. But He did. He did because He loves us. I feel unworthy and at the same time so grateful.

It’s not about the bunny. Jesus is King! The tomb is empty. HE HAS RISEN, for you and for me!!!
